June is National Smile Month

According to the American Dental Association, a person's smile outranked eyes, hair and body as the most important physical feature, which is why it's important for our team at Discovery Dental to support National Smile Month this June.

Here are a few simple steps you can take to improve your oral health so that you may celebrate National Smile Month for many, many years to come:

* Brush at least twice a day with fluoride toothpaste.
* Floss every day to clean between your teeth.
* Reduce your intake of sugary foods and drinks.
* Visit Dr. Stinchfield every six months (or as recommended).

Now Available: The Discovery Dental iPhone and Android App!

Dr. Stinchfield is very excited to announce that our new iPhone and Android app is now available for download! This app makes it easy for patients to call us with questions and to schedule appointments, since you can simply select the 'Contact the Office' button. You can email, visit our website, refer friends and call our office for emergencies with just one click. Patients can also take pictures of any problems, such as a broken tooth, swollen face, laceration, and email them to our team at Discovery Dental directly.

We encourage patients to share our new app with friends and family. For new patients, the app will provide gps directions to our office, and allow for you to view photos of the office. To schedule your appointment with Dr. Stinchfield, simply select our app's 'request an appointment' button. We look forward to seeing you, and hearing your feedback about this new technology!
